From the year 2008, the EHD also offers a new four-year undergraduate program leading to the bachelor degree of environmental engineering. To fulfill the degree’s requirement, students are required to complete a 148 credits curriculum. In order to provide graduates with a well-balanced and comprehensive engineering education, compulsory practical trainings in the fields of water and wastewater treatment, solid waste treatment and hazardous waste management are required for a minimum total four weeks at the end of the student’s third year. In the senior year, students are required to carry out individual environmental engineering projects, in whichwhich each student has to perform a research work and prepared a research report.

The environmental engineering program is to provide students with knowledge and technologies in environmental protection, natural resource management, urban environmental management, air pollution control, wastewater treatment and solid waste treatment.
