History

Since 2008, the Environmental Engineering Department has been offering a new bachelor’s degree curriculum in environmental engineering. To meet the requirements of this program, students must complete a total of 148 units. To ensure that graduates from this department possess high-quality skills, it is essential for students to undergo intensive learning in courses such as clean wastewater management, waste management, and hazardous waste protection. This practical learning experience requires students to dedicate at least 4 weeks during the final part of their third year.

During the last year of their studies, students are tasked with completing an individual Environmental Engineering project. This project entails conducting research and preparing a comprehensive report. By engaging in this project, students gain knowledge and develop expertise in various aspects of environmental engineering, including environmental technology, the conservation of natural resources, protection of the environment in urban areas, air pollution control, and efficient wastewater management.
